Really Versatile

I always used typical ligatures until I tried this one. Depending on your mouthpiece and reed selection, you'll be able to find a combination with this ligature that suits your personal sound. I also found that it makes articulation easier and with a wider range than with a standard ligature. Plus, it is fun to change the settings every now and then. The only con is that when not in use, you need to store the metal plates (comes with 2) in a safe place.

Ligature souple ne provoquant pas de griffures

Très bonne qualité de fabrication. Le serrage est progressif, il n'abime pas le bec et la possibilité d'avoir 6 combinaisons possibles offre des sonorités quelque peu différentes.
Excellent produit : à conseiller.

Mittel gegen schrille Blätter

Im Vergleich zu reinen Metall-Ligaturen dämpft diese deutlich die Höhen - zumindest bei bestimmten meiner Blätter. Das ist durchaus gewollt, wenn die Blätter zu schrill klingen oder das Mundstück sowieso eher hell is. Bei manchen Blatt-Mundstück-Kombinationen ziehe ich aber eine gute Metallschraube vor. Ein Nachteil ist, dass die Ligatur recht leicht verrutscht, wenn man das Mundstück dreht oder rein und raus schiebt. Bei den unterschiedlichen Kombinationsmöglichkeiten (Austausch der Metallplatten, ohne Metallplatte etc.) höhre ich, ehrlich gesagt, keine riesigen Unterschiede.

Past ook op kleine baritons mondstukken

Speel zelf op een bariton eboniet OttoLink mondstuk. Helaas is de bijgeleverde rietbinder van zeer slechte kwaliteit en past niet goed. Standaard rietbinders voor bariton passen niet omdat OL een erg smal mondstuk is. Naar aanleiding van een review op deze site de Rovner tenor versie besteld omdat deze wel op de OL zou passen. Ikben hier zeer tevreden over. De afwerking is goed en je hebt 6 manieren om het riet te klemmen ( drukplaatjes). Dat is wel even uitproberen wat voor jou het beste werkt, maar je zult versteld staan over het verschil in geluid bij de diverse mogelijkheden. Ik had me nooit gerealiseerd dat zo’n ogenschijnlijk simpel plaatje zo het verschil kan maken.
Niet de goedkoopste maar zeker een aanrader
