Gute Wahl

Brett mit Saiten drauf, 31.10.2020

Ich habe mir dieses Set bereits mehrere Male bestellt und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Rotosound steht für Qualität und lange Haltbarkeit und Brillanz.
Eine klare Empfehlung.

Perfekt für D Tuning

Ich spiele diese Saiten auf einer Gitarre im D Tuning. Die Saiten sind schön straff und klingen absolut brilliant. Sie Saiten sind sehr leicht bespielbar und haben genau die richtige stärke für das o.g. Tuning. Sie sind außerdem äußerst robust und langlebig, wobei die Soundqualität nicht leidet. Ich spiele die Saiten etwa 2-3 Monate und halte sie währenddessen mit String Cleaner sauber. Ich bin happy =)

Ein Gitarrist von dem ich noch nie vorher gehört habe, von einer Band, die ich bisher auch nicht kannte.
Auch Rotosound kannte ich bisher nicht.

Mir gings aber eigentlich um die intersannte kombination der Saitenstärken und nicht um den Namen.
Ich nutze vorwiegend Pyramid Herman Frank Saiten (009-054), doch ich wollte mal
ne Nummer stärker ausprobieren um bei der G-Saite auf meiner SG (628mm Mensur) mehr Stimmstabilität zu haben.

Leider fühlen sich die Saiten an als wären sie bereits mehrere Wochen auf der Gitarre gewesen.
Die Stimmstabilität ist gut und würde alleine schon den kauf rechtfertigen, doch dieses oxidierte Gefühl an den Fingern macht mich verrückt.

Im Vergleich zu Saiten mit der gleichen Stärke sind diese sehr stramm (was ich sehr positiv finde).
Beim Pyramid 009-054er Set wird schon bei Drop D die E(D) Saite sehr wabbelig,
doch hier belib sie schön stramm und auch D Standard ist mit einem guten Saitenzug drin.
Ich kaufe mir extra etwas "unbalanciertere" Sets, um in Sachen Riffing und leichtfüßigem Solieren best of both worlds zu haben.

Ich werde sie weiter testen, vielleicht gewöhne ich mich ja noch an ihr Feeling.

Die G-Saite ist übrigens NICHT UMWICKELT, liebes Thomann Team!!!! Auch wenn es auf der Produkseite hier so steht!

Was mich sehr enttäuscht hat. Beim nächsten mal probiere ich das Set in Kombination mit einer umwickelten 017 G-Saite (Daddario bietet die als Einzelsaiten an)
