Very nice Violin case for the price

I use this lovely case for the violin I have for outdoor gigs or for venues that I don't take my expensive French violin.

It has all the space you need for the shoulder rest, rosin, spare strings etc. It does not feel cheap at all. Especially the holders of the bow which are sturdy enough. It does all you might want for the price. I wouldn't put a very expensive old violin in any budget case and this applies in this one. But for anything else it's a great solution and looks very nice. I own it for several months and it's still like brand new. If you are moderately careful it should last for a long time.

I have to say that the hygrometer is not at all accurate but I don't think that this is what you need in this price range. I highly doubt that any budget case has a decent hygrometer.

Nach den ersten Tagen der Benutzung hatte meine Geige genau dort Abdrücke wo sie im Koffer Auflag. Scheint, als ob der Samtbezug dort Material abgegeben hat.

Auch das Band, das verhindert, dass der Koffer mehr als 90° aufgeklappt wird hat sich bei mir gelöst. Er ist nur mit zwei Tacker-Nadeln festgemacht. Super ärgerlich, wenn diese dann im Kasten landen und die Geige verkratzen. So was darf eigentlich nicht passieren. Etwas Heißkleber könnte da schon helfen!

Damit zusammenhängend nutze ich jetzt die aufgesetzte Notentasche nicht mehr, da das Gewicht am Band zieht und dieses wieder droht auszureißen. Schade!

etui léger et pratique

cet étui est léger mais très pratique pour y ranger violon et archets. il y a un aimant qui permet, si vous n'avez pas fermé l'étui avec la fermeture éclair de sécuriser quand même l'étui et de ne pas faire tomber votre violon par terre..bien sûr, il faudra le fermer ensuite correctement pour le transporter mais on est jamais trop prudent avec des instruments fragiles qu'on aime.

Mooie indeling met veel opbergruimte.
Toch enige kritiekpunten:
* de ruimte voor de beide strijkstokken is iets te kort
* de knop op het kleinste vakje kan de viool beschadigen, dus ofwel weghalen of een zachte kunststof exemplaar monteren
* in de beschrijving staat plaats voor 4 strijkstokken, echter er is plaats voor 2.
* de case werd afgeleverd met een defecte hygrometer (lag uiteen in de case). Omdat ik een uitgebreider apparaat wil met tijd, temperatuur en hygro is het verder niet van belang, maar ik vind het wel slordig dat het zo afgeleverd werd.
Na mijn formele klacht hierover heeft Thomann deze zaak financieel correct afgehandeld.
* de bevestiging van de rugbanden is te zwak, waardoor de buitenlaag van de binnenlaag loskomt; slordig !!
