Seat, fits, does not wiggle and has good air ...

Previously: I have no experience with marching forks, this one is my first. In this respect, my judgment may be of secondary importance. I would nevertheless like to give a praise, because I am very satisfied.
The Riedl-Lyre sits perfectly on my trumpet, the clamping device is padded and can be screwed tightly or less tightly, directly on the sound cup. For me this is ideal, because with my glasses at this distance I have no problem reading small notes; Closer with it and I would guess the grades. The two stirrups holding the note sheets are very tight. What sticks in it, probably not fly away even with wind force 10, although my personal test in the wind tunnel still stands out. ;-) The stirrups are so narrow that hardly anything is hidden. I do not know - see above - as with other marching forks, here you can open both brackets separately or move both together. The fast and safe handling with it I had to learn first but now it works perfectly. On me, material and workmanship make a solid, durable impression; The locking screw is a cross-wrench with a nut that could be replaced, should show the thing at all per fatigue phenomena.
The only very small drawback: If you care and the clamping device s.Schutzbecher too far inwards, scrapes along the edge of the sound cup along. But you have to be careful. Otherwise, you're going to be careful with your instrument.
