Not suitable for alphorns: too big!

Disaster! The first time I tried using this cleaning cloth it became immovably wedged in the alphorn lead pipe. I tried to poke it back out with long objects (such as trombone cleaning rod), but the more it was poked from either direction, the more firmly it remained stuck. I eventually spent 2 1/2 hours poking it repeatedly with a skewer until I had shredded the cloth and could pull it out in fragments.

Will not fit through mouthpiece hole

The product appears well made, but the sponge is too large to fit through the mouthpiece hole of my alphorn. Unable to use this product to dry the most important (mouthpiece) tube of my alphorn.

Too big!

This got stuck in the narrow end of my alphorn the very first time I tried using it. I had a difficult time getting it out. (I have the Thomann Deluxe Matterhornli alphorn, in case you’re wondering.)

Der Durchziehwischer funktioniert einwandfrei. Manchmal muss man etwas kräftig ziehen, aber dadurch ist die Reinigungswirkung höher.
Trocknet schnell, nimmt Schmutz gut auf. Waschbar.
