Ersatz- und Übungssaite meiner Wahl!

Für Oktavemandoline gibt es nicht viele passende Saitensätze und keine Einzelsaiten. Es widerstrebt mir aber, bei einer gerissenen Saite einen ganzen Saitensatz zu kaufen.
Das größte Problem dabei sind die benötigten Loop-Ends.
Die Lösung: Ball-Ends aus Western-Saiten rausfummeln... Klingt nervig, aber mit einer runden Schmuck-Spitzzange geht das einigermaßen gut, man muss eventuell die Wicklung um eine Drehung öffnen, und nach ein paar Saiten hat man ein Gefühl dafür.

Die meisten Saiten haben diese Tortur bisher auch wunderbar mitgemacht. Lieber gehen mir dabei ein oder zwei Saite kaputt, als jedesmal 16 Euro für einen neuen Satz auszugeben.
Ich spare obendrein dadurch ca. 50% pro Satz!

Dazu kommt, das mir der Klang von Pyramid eindeutig am besten gefällt!

Sie unterscheiden sich natürlich klanglich etwas von den Oktavmandolinen-Saiten, klingen trotzdem klar und voll und brauchen sich absolut nicht zu verstecken.

Günstig, hochwertig, toller Klang! Was will man mehr?

Für mich ist Pyramid DER Saitenhersteller!

Très bien sur mon Lap Steel

J'avais besoin de changer les cordes de mon Lap Steel que j'accorde en C6, c'est toujours une galère pas possible pour trouver un jeu complet de ce côté-ci de l'atlantique alors j'ai tenté de me faire un set avec ces Pyramid à l'unité (36w - 30w - 26w - 20 - 17 -15)
Résultat, je suis super content de ces cordes qui se prêtent très bien à l'utilisation que j'en fais, les cordes filées ne sont pas trop bruyantes lors du glissement de la steel bar et le son global avec le jeu neuf n'est pas trop brillant et s'accorde bien avec mon Lap Steel vintage.
Au final, c'est pour l'instant le meilleur compromis que j'ai pu trouver pour mon instrument.

Dépanage.

Pyramide c'est la marque chez Thomann des cordes à l'unité. Bonne fabrication et son correct se mêle parmi mes jeux ernie ball sans trop de dégâts.
Mais il est évident que j'aurais préféré trouver ma marque fétiche à l'unité sur ce site car les cordes à l'unité c'est un bon moyen d'affiner un panier d'achat.
