Soft sounding E string

This wound E string sounds as an extension of the other strings, not as a completely separate entity as many E strings do.

If you want a piercing and clear sound out of your E string, this string is not for you.

If you want a mellow and warmer sound that is more in line with the other strings, you won't be able to find any better than this one.

I have used it on an electric violin so the sound would not be so thin, and the string performed that task perfectly. Highly recommended.

Kommt dafauf an, was man will: eine E-Saite, die einen moeglichst eigenstaendigen Klangcharakter (im Vergleich zu den anderen Saiten) hat, oder eine die im Klangcharakter dem Rest des Saitensatzes moeglichst nahekommt.
Die Piastro Eudoxa (Stahl mit Alu umsponnen) gehoert definitiv zu den letztgenannten. Ich kenne keine E Saite die im Klang weniger heraussticht als die Eudoxa. Gerade auch in Verbindung mit einem ganzen Satz Eudoxa ergibt sich ein sehr ausgewogenes Klangbild.
Haltbarkeit ist auch sehr gut.
