I do not have too much experience with this instrument, but I can say it sounds well in recordings, also as a shaker. I can say is good for sound design as well as the classical way of using it. I love it

Nice looking instrument, cheap, nice and robust, sounds ok but does not last very long and is nigh on impossible to get a continuous sound from - you will need another one so you can stagger the turn to get a continuous rainstorm

Pearl Bamboo Rainstick - African rain. The sound is pleasant and soothing during healing. It just requires learning the technique of using this instrument, as you have to learn to move it harmoniously.

Der Regenmacher bietet mit seiner Größe die perfekte Mischung aus Portabilität und Klangdauer. Besonders toll finde ich den Klang einzelner herunterfallender Steine am Ende, welche wirklich klingen wie Regen in einer Pfütze. Es gibt nicht wirklich etwas negatives zu sagen. Er sieht schön aus, klingt gut und hat eine angemessene Größe und auch Dauer des Geräusches. Er macht das was er soll und hat dem Klang der Band nochmal das gewisse etwas gegeben, was ein Sizzler so nicht erreichen konnte.
Nur beim Abstellen sollte man vorsichtig sein, da manchmal noch ein paar Steine nachrieseln.
