Die Pearl 14"x5,5" President Deluxe O.R. ist die einzige Snare in dieser Preisklasse, die mit so einer klanglichen Vielfalt auftritt.

Die Snare kann sowohl für leichte Akzente im Jazz als auch für boomende Rock Beats eingesetzt werden.
Der Sound ist eher dunkel mit singenden Obertönen, obwohl Ich die Snare oft gedämpft verwende, da ich einen eher trockenen Sound bevorzuge.
Der Dämpfer im Kessel ermöglicht eine stufenlose Dämpfung und lässt so entweder alle Obertöne oder nur einen kleinen Teil kontrollieren.

Die Snare sieht sehr edel aus und ist gut verarbeitet. Ob sie auch lange durchhält und den Proben-Alltag stand hält wird sich zeigen.
