I love the bright colours of these Ollie Hess mallets. I bought one when I first got a gong and now have a pair. The shorter handle is better when playing sitting or kneeling and the mallets are lighter than the equivalent Paiste ones but with enough weight to pull out harmonics. A perfect mallet!

Worth every penny

These mallets are really, really good. If you start just with one you will be suprised with wide range of quality sound, in my case on 32" symphonic gong. They are smooth in performance and very silent. They are not heavy and offers you good performance. Of course, if you a rolling player you will not regret buying second mallet as a pair. I am very satisfied. Don't let the price fool you. Higly recommend
