Innovative bu not very good

Because of its 'innovative' concept, I bought this Nuvo soprano merely out of curiosity.
The build quality of this soprano is OK (be it not more than that), but I found the sound quality very disappointing.
The lower octave is quite good, but the upper octave is mediocre.
Moreover, in the upper octave the recorder is not really forgiving when half-closing the thumbhole.
In spite of its low price, in my opinion both shortcomings make this recorder useless as a school-recorder.
Since many years I am a happy player of plastic Yamaha sopranos (YRS-24B and YRS-302B) and I can recommend these instruments to everybody who is looking for an excellent low-budget soprano.

Makkelijk bespeelbaar, robuust en een prima klank

Wat een fijne blokfluit is dit! Het materiaal voelt allesbehalve goedkoop aan. Het is robuust kunststof, niet van dat plastiekerige. De fluit blaast heel makkelijk aan, ideaal dus voor beginners, en heeft een prima klank. Ik heb hem aangeschaft voor leerlingen en omdat ik dit merk graag eens wilde uitproberen. Dat smaakt zeker naar meer.

Überraschend

Da ich einige Blockflöten in meinem Besitz habe und diese auch unterschiedlich in der Intonation, als auch in der Ansprache sind, was ja auch aus dessen Struktur hervorgeht.
Bei diesem Kauf, wollte ich die neuen Möglichkeiten des Instrumentes einmal Testen, wo ich positiv angetan bin. Seine Form ist ansprechend und besitzt eine sehr leichte Ansprache. Auch die Variationsmöglichkeiten sind sehr leicht zu spielen mit einem sauberen und klaren Klang.
Als Fazit kann ich dies nur empfehlen und aus meiner Sicht nicht nur ein sehr gutes Einsteigerinstrument, sondern auch sehr gut im professionellen Bereich einzusetzen.
Habe einige Songs über Music Maker produziert und der Erfolg war beachtlich. Einfach unfassbar für diese Preislage.
