There is no cable rubber boot and the inner cable clamp is very close to the ground contact, which makes it very difficult to allow sufficient amount of cable clamping.

I would only use it for low importance cables with no requirements for mechanical resistance and durability

erratic for overheating.

Durable. Has a good metal construction,I've bought 4 of them, but I've ruined one, because I overheated it. It has fragile elements inside of it. Do not overheat them.
Was a little bit disappointed with this series, because in total Neutrik has good connectors. So my mark is 3. If you are not so good in welding, than probably I would not recommend them for you! If you will weld them,make it fast, just one quick touch, do not overheat them.
