It is Perfect...perfect! Everything...down to the last, minute details...
So, I finally got this beast and let me say this: The thing is absolutely perfect! Down to the smallest detail.
As a mechanical engineer I'm trying to find any flaw on it when it comes to manufacturing, quality controle, overall construction and this thing is perfect.
From the musical side of things it's of course flawless. Sound is classic Stingray with a bit of modernity to it. Color looks much better live. It has more of a silver hue to it.
The only "flaw" I can see on it is that string action is set a bit higher than I would like, which is of course easily fixable.
Unfortunalty from the recent times it doesn't come with MUSICMAN hardcase anymore. Now it comes with MONO hard...bag that is very lightweight and if we believe internet reviews, it offers even better protection...so bare this in mind.
Bass comes with additional tools you might need for set up and some small gadgets like cleaning wipes, musicman logo sticker etc.
I have to say, I'm incredibly happy with the purchase!
Thomann, as always, offered me excellent service. Bass arrived in 2 days and they answered all my questions with utmost precision.
I wholeheartedly recommend this bass! Bass as a instuement doesn't really get better than this. :)
