Perfect out-of-the-box EQ for dark voices
If you have a dark voice, this microphone will be great for you. The native EQ curve works wonders in a live scenario. The low end is super clean, with absolutely no mud. The highs are boosted, but in a very pleasant way. The best part is the wide dip around the 500 Hz region, which keeps a dark voice like mine sounding crystal clear. You won't really need any EQ—just a low cut and you are good to go. I own the KMS 105, Nexadyne 8s, sE V7, Telefunken M80, and Beta 57A, and the Mojave works the best for me out of the box.
The only downside is the logo placement; it sticks out quite a bit, and I wish it were recessed like on other microphones.
