Double bass pedal for heavy genres!

I needed to buy a cheap double bass pedal for studio work, but I was to playing with high end pedals from DW, and Yamaha so I was little bit nervous to buy such a pedal, but now I feel that this was the right decision!

Millenium The Strike Double Pedal is absolutely amazing in terms of price/quality. All details are very well made from clamp system to footboard. I have them for few months now but I belive that it will work without any trouble for many years. When I was trying others Millenium double bass pedals they all felt like very cheap and unrelaible instruments, but The Strike Pedal feels very solid from the first time you play it.

However, when i was using it like single pedal it wasn't very convenient for me to execute dynamically soft sounds beacuse of the direct drive system, although there is option to change it to chain system.

All in all wonderful double bass pedal for musicians on the budget!

When I wanted to test the pedal, I had to conclude that the Beaterhalter is a single defect construction, since the Beater still have a distance of about 5cm to the coat at 90 ° angle. That is, the beaters strike the skin at an angle of about 20 °; So the pedal is impossible to play and you also get no sound from the kickdrum.
Since I bought this pedal as a second pedal and have a Pearl Demon Drive, I mounted their pedal holder on the Millenium pedal and the problem was solved.
The pedal has been converted to two individual pedals and with the Peal Beaterhaltern it was outstanding. Very easy-going and comfortable to play, Heel-Toe works just as well as the Demon Drive (is also a longboard).
My initial enthusiasm was again, however, after I used the pedal again as a double pedal, since the cardan shaft seems to be very inferior and the ball bearings of the second beater on the right pedal rub so much that the pedal felt like a bubble Thorough oiling did not improve).
Since I do not use my cardan joint of the Demon Drive, I will use this with the Millenium pedal and hope that it can be played again as easily as with the single pedal setup.

The processing is basically ok, however, I have a pedal already rotated all the screws in the attempt to reduce the play of the floor plate slightly to reduce doll.

If you want to use the pedal in a 2x single pedal setup, only the Pearl Beater Holder (DC-717ULA costs 8? Per piece) and gets a very playable and unrivaled product at the price.
If you want to use the pedal as a double pedal on a single bassdrum, you will probably need a high-quality cardan shaft and low-friction ball bearings in addition to the beater holders, otherwise the feeling between the right and left pedal is different.
Unpacking and getting started is unfortunately impossible with this product, but if you get the nerve and fix the deficiencies in the end is rewarded, everyone else should make an arc around this product.
I will keep it for my part, as I could remedy said deficiencies as far as possible.
