Have the DW model by Vic Firth, Agner and Millenium tested, because this model is ideal for me.

Vic Firth is good! Unfortunately, the red color leaves traces on the white skins, if you play the stick wrong.

Agner model: Had a 12-pack of it. Unfortunately, some sticks were crooked - can not be done!

Millenium: Pleasant finish, does not slip in your hand. Also not less stable than Vic Firth and Agner. The couples are not exactly sensitive to each other's weight.

I recommend, also for the price, the Millenium floor. Best order at least 10 pairs and then put together matching 2 sticks to a "matched" pair. Weigh the sticks with the kitchen scale and / or listen to the sound of the stick (beat the stick loosely into the open palms of the hand) and thus always put together 2 sticks that match the pitch to some extent. Also on a pelvis you can hear the difference between 2 sticks very well.

I love these sticks.

I really love these sticks. I play a variety of different styles and they seem to fit all the bills. They're nicely balanced and have a lovely weight and density in the hand. Not too big and not too small, they're rather like the old Pro-Mark 3A which I used for decades (unfortunately Pro-Mark stopped making those). They're also un-pretentious sticks. Normal wood colour, no superstar signature, no plastic tips... they're very use-able, reasonably priced, comfortable drumsticks. My new favourite!
