An excellent piece of engineering

I used these for 2 "tank traps" (platforms supporting vertical lighting bars) - 4 braked castors on each.

They work very smoothly, have a good maximum load rating and the brakes are easy to apply and release. The brakes are very effective at stopping wheel rotation and the swivelling action of the castor.

I have these screwed onto the bottom of some heavy bass bins. They roll free and wear slowly and have a brake to stop the bins rolling off down a hill. 2 braked and 2 unbraked per bin
