Not worth it.
I bought an amplifier from thomann and had a bit money left so i threw in my shopping basket this stand ,because it is cheap (of course) . I had bought a millenium mic stand before and it was so bad , but i thought that this stand will just stay still in my bedroom so i gave it a try. When i opened my package I already saw that it is a cheap stand , it had a really weird screws and the locking mechanism was odd. But it worked at first . After time and some adjustments the locking mechanism just couldn't stand it and broke. If you know that you will never change the position of this stand maybe you can buy it, but it is just worthless. Millenium stands are very bad period!

For a little load only.
Stand is unstable and unsteady. Suitable perhaps only for 5-8 kg load. When I put on them my Laney LV200 Guitarcombo (~16kg.) - stand broke down immediately. Now stand is not suitable for use. I already bought another stand.
Not recommended. Unless for a very little load only.

Fantastic idea but poor workmanship!
The first AS 2001 stand I bought was really good! So I decided to go for another one. I received two consecutive similar stands with locking issues. The locks do not match! Thomann's after sales service was excellent and got them replaced. owever finally I went for a different stand! Pity...because it is a great design.

Poor Quality And A Bad Design
I ordered a paired of these but one was very poorly made. They are not very stable either because of the design and could tilt over, especially with a heavy item on it.
