Meris Hedra Pitch-Shifter

I really wanted to work this pedal for me. I love what it does. However, the operation is so frustrating and in addition, not precise, you are more or less guessing what scale and what intervals... it would be perhaps better if the dials were larger and maybe if the knobs clicked into various position... I find it not precise and more of a guesswork. Also the knobs are a bit flimsy and I worry they would not last very long... Other than that, I think it is an awesome pedal. But I will return it and opt for alternative, perhaps for POG or Micropog even though that will only give me octaves and sub octaves and no delay...

I wanted to add an analog pitch shifter to my sampling signal and the hedra does it. unfortunately that s nearly all. I think we got a problem with pricing here. imo a pedal for around 349 euros should be solid in build quality which I cannot confirm. the pedal has some silver paint to it and telling from the pictures it looks insanely well build and solid. its build well enough to control my pitch but the thing weighs nearly nothing and the material isnt (as it looks like) metal, its a weird kind of plastic with a fake metal paint or something. thats one thing, the other huge flaw again focusing on the price is, the knobs are nearly free from being weighted. at least the three pitch knobs have a slight weight to it. the pitch in terms of sound is... again not very satisfying for the price. so something went wrong here it seems. my crazy tube circuits pedals are lots better. they're more solid in terms of build quality, they appear durable and lasting over time and they sound typically analog which I prefer for my sampling signal which is basically analog. but this pedal is overpriced!
