Lieblingssticks

Sehr leicht und für mich ausgesprochen angenehm spielbar. Sticks wiegen aufs Gramm genau gleich viel und sind tatsächlich tone-matched. Manchmal +/- ein paar cent Unterschied, aber bei 5 Paar bisher nie mehr als ein Viertelton auseinander.

Habe die letzten Jahre das Konkurrenzmodell von Vic Firth benutzt, das dem Meinl SD4 nahezu bis aufs Haar gleicht.
Trotz der Angaben auf dem Papier kommen mir die Meinl SD4s noch einen Ticken leichter vor und auch weniger kopflastig. Ist vielleicht nur Einbildung.
Was aber definitiv nicht Einbildung ist: Der Meinl hat in Sachen Haptik und Design die Nase vorn. Der Stick greift sich sehr angenehm und das Logo ist (für mich) ästhetischer und dezenter als das des Vic Firth SD4, und daher besser. Preislich nehmen sich beide Modelle kaum was.
Mein neuer Lieblingsstock :-)
