Manfrotto MCPIXI Smartphone Clamp

I bought a few of these to hold my phones in their shock cases. The spring is strong and silent (no wear), the locking mechanism guarantees peace of mind when mounting $1000+ phones, cold shoe mount is very handy and can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Well worth the money highly recommended with the MTPIXI-B stand.

The Manfrotto MCPIXI Smartphone Clamp is so easy to use unlike ordinary clamps with tight springs which can damage your phone too. The 2 screws allows you to either fix your phone is portrait or landscape mode to a camera tripod or monopod. Highly recommended.

If you need a phone mount, this is the one to get. I have used mine to keep my phone on my camera hot shoe, tagged on a light stand, I even use it on one of the little pixma stands on my desk to keep my phone in view. It's awesome. It's super secure, the spring is very strong, and you can even lock it in place for some extra security if you feel the need. Mount it horizontal or portrait, honestly, can't go wrong, it's excellent.

This is the best phone holder I have used, because its width can be locked using the clamp on the back, so it holds the phone without constantly squeezing it.

I use it in church together with a Manfrotto arm and super clamp.

Manfrotto quality. The clamp is plastic, the sockets, however, are metal - and there are 2 of them: one at the back, another at the bottom. The lever at the back allows to lock the clamp, (but the spring is strong enough) and keep the phone in place if the spring malfunctions. The clamp can accommodate bigger smartphone.

The holder works and is of good quality BUT…the strength of the “clamp” is so strong that it’s so frustrating trying to clamp your phone. The clamp mechanism is always “clamping down” so you need to pry it open to stick your phone in there…not the right solution imo. A manually adjusting/locking clamp would be better and easier to use than this

Easy to attach to the tripod & holds the cell phone quite nicely.

My only concern is that it doesn’t have a plate to stop the screw on the bottom.

Simple, cheap and quality. Can attach to most cellphones. Movable tripod. I use it always and have steady shots. Great for both selfies, photos and videos via your phone.
