Good... for a modeller
Threndor, 03.09.2020
I play electric guitar and bass and I needed some kind of modeler for flexibility and quick setup. I do like the fact that I can put this in the gig bag and have a decent sound anywhere (with a power amp). It's very light. Very easy to use too, especially with the PC app. With my previous modelers I got tired and grumpy just because dialing in the sound was so tedious but Pod Go is perfect when it comes to ease of use. Typical for this kind of product you have all the simulations of amps, cabs and effects you could ever need... almost. Single signal chain might be limiting for some.
I wasn't impressed with the sound. Maybe my setup isn't perfect but I can always feel the digital and unorganic vibe to the sound. I know that many people (me included) improve the sound with third party IR's. The ability to load IR's is great but I find it odd paying extra for improving the sound. I think Line6 should invest more in that area.
To summarize:
Pros:
-lightweight and portable, fits in most bags;
-easy to use and understand;
-sounds great... for a modeler;
-can be used as a audio interface;
-competitive price.

Cons:
-you can tell that the sound is digitally created, it's not stellar;
-stock cabs sims are lacking, I'm not happy about paying extra for better sound;
-guitar players who like to use many effects simultaneously, use double amps/cabs or run parallel chains will find the Pod Go limited.

In the end Pod Go is capable of handling many situations and is very competitive in the digital modelers market. It does the jobs for which I bought it and I'm keeping it.

Bit of a mixed bag, but can become better
Matyas S., 18.08.2020
This is a nice little compact multieffect pedal. The sound is amazing, but unfortunately, you cannot create a patch where you use a clean amp for clean tones and use a hi gain amp for the rest of the snapshots within that patch. Giant con unfortunately. There are not much amps where you can do this type of versatile patch. If any. Also, the software is still very much filled with bugs, but there are constant updates, so not worried. The patch versatility will remain an issue I presume, but hoping for the best. I only use it for inspiration and creating riffs and stuff (being a drummer first, but also a somewhat-songwriter). This is more than enough for that, but not yet enough for the mentioned versatile patch. We'll see. The handling is easy as pie, have quality effects (limited number of effects within a patch, but for most of us, this will be enough), sound is basicaly HELIX, and... well... cute little thing. A pro-level case would be nice for it, but not any "official" one exist yet. I modified a THON case for it (Thomann stuff, so quality is more than satisfactory). Many have used it live, most of them satisfied with the result. So... So far, I'm okay with my purchase. Hopefully the updates solve all the issues. Recommend for writing, maybe not yet for pro-use. But very-very soon I will recommend it for that too.

I'm using the POD GO with my Worship Band and it's all that i need. 5-6 presets with snapshots and you're ready to praise!
Pros: snapshots, effects are miles away from my previous 500X, It's small, easy to carry, on/off switch. No Cons.

Everything I need in a little box.
TByrne, 23.06.2020
I'm playing guitar a year and a half and up 'til now I had been connecting it to an audio interface with monitor speakers connected to a laptop via Reaper with amp sim plugins and a MIDI footswitch to control the pedals. Which I have to set up every time I play due to a lack of permanent space.
Now I just throw this Pod Go on to the floor and connect to a single speaker and I'm done. Easy peasy and I can play anywhere.
Of course the added bonus is that the Pod Go is essentially a stripped down Helix which allows for a single signal path instead of multiple (so probably not for people who need that extra scope for effects) so the sound quality is very good and quite realistic and there are amps and cabs for every style imaginable.
The stomps and expression pedals can be assigned to pedals and even parameters of those pedals leaving plenty of scope for weird and wonderful creations.
The interface is intuitive and build solid. It's small and light and fits neatly in a backpack with room left over. And the price point is a bargain for this quality.
