Small top quality passive DI Box

Fretless Experience 01.06.2023

PROS:
- I use it for an active bass and it is super flat in my range from 40Hz to about 1.5 kHz. Flatter than my AR-133 and a lot flatter than my Stage Bug.
- Very loud for a passive DI Box.
- Tiny.

CONS:
- I only wish it had a ground connect button for those rare situations when ground lift generates a lot of noise.
- Does not have a Link output which is of course not possible in such a tiny box.

Die Verarbeitung ist super, die Größe natürlich verlockend praktisch klein. Aber ich konnte nicht herausfinden, für welchen Einsatzzweck die Box genau ist.
Weil in der Bedienungsanleitung etwas von einem hochomigen Übertrager steht und weil ein anderer Rezensent vom Einsatz am E-Bass schrieb, hab ich die Box als DI-Box getestet. Nein, das Übertragungsverhältnis scheint 1:1, es findet wohl keine Impedanzanpassung statt, hochohmiges Instrument in niederohmigen Mikrofoneingang resultiert in dumpfem Klang.
Als Line Level Isolator für symmetrische Signale getestet (im Vergleich zu Palmer PLI-02), Klang und Headroom sind zwar in Ordnung, aber die Phase wird irgendwie verdreht, was mir nicht gefällt.
Als Reamp-Box habe ich sie nicht getestet, weil kein Bedarf.

Fazit: wird schon für irgendetwas zu gebrauchen sein, ich hab es nur nicht rausgefunden.
