Good string, but doesn't feel that different in terms of tension to standard Larsen
I should explain my background - I'm an adult beginner cellist, not a professional, and I play at home for pleasure.
I was looking for a string that was easier on the left hand compared to the standard Larsen and other strings I've tried so I tried this 'soft' version. I didn't find that the tension felt much lower than the regular one I had before it. Likely that difference might be felt more by someone with more experience. What I ended up putting on my cello was Tomastik Dominants which definitely do feel a lot more pliable under my fingers. I don't think those would last as long or project as far as the Larsens but for my needs - playing at home they work better for me.
Aside from that point the string was the usual high quality from this brand, good sound, held it's tuning. So no issues really, just not the 'right' string for my needs.
