Unfortunately not so cool

Sven aus H, 11.12.2015
Unfortunately, I have a not so great rating here. In the beginning the Korg was really good and everything was great. Over time, the sound gets worse and worse. This is characterized by the fact that after the stop, the tone modulates downwards, up to a quarter of a note. In the meantime, there are already three keys.
The piano has already been sent by Thomann to Korg, but no mistakes were found ... Meanwhile it is no longer a lot of fun. Fortunately, this is only in the basic sound and the other sounds. Unfortunately this can not be saved and must be adjusted each time anew.

Great instrument

I bought this piano for my daily practice (30 years without keyboard !!), and for the various concerts I participate in (big band, jazz quartet, etc.). I play jazz, funk, latin, (Ravel Scriabine Debussy Mompou Sculthorpe Takemitsu Ligeti Tüür Schnittke, etc etc, everything goes very well on this piano.)

Strong points :
The sounds are generally very good, (especially for the price!), Especially the pianos (classical and electric), the analog choirs and violins, the sounds of classical organ, the clavinet.
The possibility to splitter the keyboard, and especially to mix two sounds, which give interesting and creative combinations. Also allows to test the composers (choirs, ensembles strings, etc ..) with a better rendering that the midi related to the editors of partitions.
The amplification very sufficient even in repetition, provided that the others do not play thoroughly.
The connectivity very complete.
The touch "heavy", close to a real piano, which varies in response according to the instruments chosen: very good point.
No drum machine, pre-digested arrangements, etc.: that music to do yourself, without a machine that plays for you, exactly what I was looking for.
Look cool.

Low bridges;

Sounds of organ jazz means, except for those mentioned above, the other sounds are average (vibrapnone not bad, interesting guitar - can make illusion)

Too bad that the hardness setting of the keyboard is actually rather an intensity adjustment: the keyboard is not heavier, you just need to play harder. I would have liked a touch identical to an acoustic piano.

Quality of manufacture: after one month of intensive use (between 1h and 4h per day), some notes of the keyboard make a mechanical noise that is absent before; It could be a giant in the long run, and I hope this is not a sign of short durability.

On delivery, one of the screwing devices of the feet was incorrectly oriented (it is a nut welded to a plate), so that the base can not be used.
Took contact with Thomann, who asked me to return the piano, which I did not do, because I use a stand. I will repair when warranty expires.

The limits of a digital of this level: impossible to make a note silent on the keyboard, like on a real piano or a high-end digital: very useful in modern music. But the piano is not intended to replace a large tail in concert.

In summary, a piano unbeatable musically compared to price, very versatile, and which offers performance in my opinion superior to many instruments much more expensive.
