Ich habe den Flansch an meinen Schreibtisch geschraubt (Schrauben sind allerdings leider keine dabei), um die Schraubklemme zu ersetzen, die mit dem Mikrofonarm mitgeliefert wird.
Mein Shure SM7b (wahres Schwergewicht) wird auch am komplett waagerechten Mikrofonarm gehalten, ohne dass mir das Stativ entgegenfällt.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden!

Wünschenswert wäre noch ein eigenes Gelenk zum Drehen innerhalb der Befestigung, man kann sich allerdings auch behelfen, indem man die Schraube nicht vollständig anzieht (zerkratzt dann allerdings den untersten Teil des Arms).
