perfect durable mic stand

I've had this mic stand now for a few years. It's mostly at my studio, but sometimes I take it on location work and gigs. It's been knocked about quite a bit, but it almost even doesn't have any cosmetic damage, and it is fully functional. So it's very sturdy. It holds the mic quite steady, and doesn't even have a problem with a stereo bar and two heavy mics on it. And even though this is the version with the smaller feet, it is very stable in the studio and on stage.

the extendable boom makes it also very useable in close quarters.

wholeheartedly recommended.

K&M quality

I deducted one star for handling just because the boom is not a telescope boom and CAN get in the way in some applications. Other than that, nothing to complain. K&M stands have lasted easily for 10+ years in somewhat active use. They're sturdy and keep most mics in place reliably. It would be hard to run into a situation where you would expect a K&M stand to be able to hold a mic of a certain weight and it wouldn't.

Do not buy cheap stands, trust me. They do not last.

Strong, sturdy, reliable.

I've had this stand for a couple of years now and it still feels new. The build quality is great and its held every microphone I've tried on it, including the incredibly heavy Rode Nt2. These are great if you're looking for a reliable stand for live gigs or in the studio. Definitely recomended!

Great stand! I trust this stand to take me till the end. This thing is heavy, strong, and durable. Feels like it could survive the apocalypse. And if the apocalypse comes, it's hard enough to be used as a weapon for fending off Zombies.

All jokes aside, another quality product on Thomann and another 10/10 from a dude on the internet who just so happened to stop and write this little review.

I have used and worn out many mic stands. These last really well, I chose this stand for its metal tripod leg holder joining to the upright as I have had problems with plastic ones in the past. These stands are a little more expensive and heavier than some, but they last, and don't let you down.
