Handy And Sturdy Stand

Like it says in the product description, this stand is saxxxxy. Jokes aside, if you want a super convenient, sturdy saxophone stand at a good price this is it. It folds up really easily with just a twist of the back leg and fits neatly inside your tenor bell if you so wish. If you prefer not to do you can use the saxxy felt case that it comes with instead! Once you twist the bag leg of this stand fairly firmly your tenor isn't going anywhere. It fits nice and snug and actually flexes to the shape of your tenor saxophone and yet it still remains very sturdy. Definitely a great buy and has lasted me for years.

Useful stand if used with care

This is a good quality stand for your saxophone. It is slightly fiddly to erect, but very stable when the sax is in place. The one complaint I have is that the pouch it comes with is not very robust and wears out quite quickly. With the pouch worn, the stand can come into direct contact with the bell of the instrument, scratching it. In some circumstances, the fit inside the bell can be quite snug, and care must be taken - I managed to put an indent in my sax's bell by pulling a little too firmly when trying to remove the stand from the bell. Overall, a good purchase, but care is needed in storing it in the saxophone.
