I bought this to go with a K&M light (K&M 12247 T-Model LED FlexLight).
It is very handy to be able to sit the lamp on a table, as there isn't always a spot to clip the light.
There is also a magnet in the base, so it can be attached to metal surfaces, which is great for me as there are always flightcases that I can attach it to beside me.
It's great value and seems robust, so I would expect it to last well over time.
