Really good alternative to brands like Kalfo or Litik

I have put this drum head on my concert snare drum and I would say thath the sound has gooten even more warm and articulate. I would say this drum head is not for everyone but if you want to take your sound to the next level (classical percussionist) and do not mind some extra work with the tunning and detuning , this is a drum head for you. I would say that durability is also really good and while playing solo pieces and orchestral excerpts I am not affraid of breaking the head.

Ich verwende das Fell als Resonanzfell auf einer
DW PDP 14"x08" Walnut Snare,
gemeinsam mit dem "Drum Head heavy" als Schlagfell gewinnt die Snare eine unglaubliche Natürlichkeit im Klang!
Der Sound wurde Wärmer und störende Obertöne verschwanden.
Klanglich könnte man (wohl weil auch Naturfell) sagen, dass die Snare ein bisschen in Richtung Conga gerutscht ist.
Stimmen lässt sich das Fell auch gut und muss gar nicht so sehr nachgestimmt werden, wie man es für ein Naturfell vielleicht erwarten würde.

Für jeden den ohne Dämpfung die Obertöne in seiner Snare stören und mit Dämpfung der Ton nicht lange genug klingt,
wären diese Naturfelle eine Empfehlung von mir!

Ich bin absolut zufrieden!

Le rendu de cette peau est excellent sur une caisse claire en bois.... Le son est chaud, l'attaque de la baguette plus veloutée que sur une peau synthetique, le toucher plus sensuel...
Je l'ai installée sur une vielle Asba 14/6.5 en okoumé et ça sonne
terrible !... Ça vaut le coup de passer du temps sur l'accordage... Le jeu en vaut la chandelle... J'ai egalement testé cette peau sur une caisse en laiton et c'est beaucoup moins concluant, en revanche.... A mon humble avis, du moins...
Quoiqu'il en soit, les marsupiaux ont toute ma gratitude !...
