Thick sound

Had a bit hard time justifying this purchase morally but since it’s a biproduct from control of overpopulation together with the fact that these apparently can last for years and years it’s a no-brainer. The sound is just what I was looking for. Thick, organic and punchy

Wunderschön klingendes Trommelfell, aber

Den Sound der Kentville Kangaroo Drum Heads mag ich wirklich sehr gerne. Ich bin aber ein Nerd, was die Trommelstimmung angeht. Naturfelle ändern ihre Tonhöhe zu schnell in Abhängigkeit von Lufttemperatur bzw. Feuchtigkeit. Das klappt also nur in einem permanent gleichmäßig geheizten bzw. gekühlten Studioraum mit Feuchtigkeitsregulierung. Das habe ich leider nicht. Auch in den Clubs und auf den Bühnen, in und auf denen ich spiele, klappt das nicht ausreichend. Daher bin ich wieder auf REMO Fiberskin Diplomat zurückgekehrt. Inzwischen habe ich hier bei Thomann ein Auge auf den japanischen Hersteller Asapura (Kunstledertechnologie mit Aramitfaser) geworfen. Hoffentlich gibts neben der Standardgröße 14" irgendwann auch 12" Felle.... (;-)
