The Kemper Profiler Stage MK2 represents a major redesign of the brand's popular floorboard profiler, with noticeable improvements in almost every area. The board remains a combination of profiler preamp and remote controller, but now features seven additional FX slots, allowing complex effect chains to be created directly using the device itself. Thanks to the eight-channel USB audio interface, recording and re-amping is a breeze – there's no need for an additional audio interface. The hardware has also been optimised, with the looper now offering two full minutes' recording capacity, and the faster loading times and a more responsive performance mode will ensure significant improvements to users' workflows. In addition, the weight of the device has been significantly reduced and the display is easy to read even in bright sunlight. The Kemper Profiler Stage MK2 is a completely updated professional sound centre – on stage, in the studio, and in rehearsals.

Like its predecessor, the Profiler Stage MK2 offers the ability to accurately "profile" the sound characteristics of real guitar and bass amplifiers and save them as presets. In addition, users can access thousands of professionally created rigs – from boutique amps to the classics. The MK2 version expands the concept with seven additional effect slots, meaning users can run complex signal routing right through the device itself. It's operated using the integrated footboard, which has a clearly structured user interface, four pedal inputs, a brightly lit colour display, and direct access to all relevant parameters. One new feature is the integrated eight-channel USB audio interface for recording and re-amping – a huge plus for DAW users. Send/return options, headphone output, MIDI, S/PDIF, and XLR and jack outputs – as well as extensive routing options – will put the Stage MK2 straight at heart of any setup.

Primera Impresión Kemper Profiler Stage MK2

Tras larga espera por asuntos de aduanas en Canarias, llegó el Profiler Stage MK2 a mis manos.

Soy usuario de Kemper desde 2021, el Profiler Head anterior.
Debo decir que en sonido de este MK2 es genial, una dinámica muy buena, los perfiles de amplis creo superan al MK1, que ya es decir..., en fin, todo lo que se comenta de Kemper, lo suscribo.

La parte negativa.
Creo lo fabricaron a 200 x hora. El display no viene muy sujeto al chasis, tiene un ligero movimiento, así como el acabado lo encuentro "débil" para un producto que va a estar en el piso y que no es barato, cosa que me extraña en un producto Alemán. Me sorprendió negativamente la parte de fabricación.

Para mi, un 5 sobre 10. Por la parte de fabricación.
