If it aint broke...

First time harmonica player. Im super into my blues guitar, but always liked the idea of being able to pull out a harmonica out of my pocket and blast a little tune.
Did some research and all signs pointed to the marine band classic, from beginners, hobbyists and pros. After a few weeks Im loving it and not in any way wishing for a more different or more expensive model! Will most probably buy the same in different keys once I feel more comfortable with playing.

No point in using any other. They last, in tune and sound as they should.

Resonance seems to suit my head.

One of the podcasts I listen to ends every episode asking the artist guest about a favourite harmonica and key. I thought this was strange but to be honest I can say a Hohner Marine Band Classic D has become my favourite!
It is very nice profile and the resonance of D seems to suit my head!!!!
I bought this to try and learn Greg Zlap’s “Wedding Theme” I have a Blues Harp (C - from about 1980), Silver Star (C – about 2019) and Rocket (A – 2025) but this Marine Bande Classic has become my favourite.
I can see why they have lasted so long and been used by so many players more gifted and serious than me.
