Probably the best violin stand I know
Does the job perfectly and safely.
The mechanism to grab the violin is smart and works well (the "jaws" could open a bit more when the violin is lifted, but that's not the end of the world).
The bow hook is far enough from the violin scroll to ensure that those two never touch each others, which was my concern with cheaper violin stands.
Even with a shoulder rest, the violin fits very well.
100% satisfied.

stable and easy to use
Very easy to setup and get working. Even though it's not sold as a portable model, it folds up compactly enough that it's easy enough to carry around when necessary.
The quick grip works exactly as advertised and holds the violin securely.
The additional bit for the holding the bow is a clever design addition.

Excellent stand
This stand is a really useful. Instead of having to constantly put the violin back in it's case, you hang it from the neck on the stand. The stand is really sturdy and well made. You get a nice cloth bag to carry it round in too. The tray is really useful to put your rosin, mutes and other bits in and the stand is telescopic so you can set it at the perfect height for you. If you have an expensive violin, you need a stand that you are really confident with and this one delivers on all fronts. Having said that, if you have a million euro / dollar / pound stradivarius, you might just want to put it back in your case to be on the safe side.

Hercules outstanding on its own
What a great stand. I've been using Hercules stands for my violins for years. They are sturdy and strong and always keeps both Violin and Bow safe in any stage environment. It also fits in the top compartment of my violin case.
