This is a good quality machine head set. Upgrading was simple, with almost no modification needed.
The result is excellent; the machines behave well and hold pitch. There is a very positive action, allowing for effective tuning.

Looks great,quality on touch.
Only complain is that two tuners are hard to turn.
But they get job done, so this is just minor complain.
I would buy again.

Die Mechanik ist für eine F-Mandoline (größeres Instrument, Länge der Drehknöpfe ca 5 cm), für kleinere Mandolinen ist diese Mechanik u.U. zu groß, deshalb vorher Koffer prüfen.
Der Abstand der Saitenhalter ca 22 mm, paßt damit in die Standard-Bohrungen.

Optisch macht die Mechanik einen sehr ordentlichen Eindruck, die Führung der Schnecke auf das Zahnrad ist nicht sehr präzise, leichtes Spiel, das sich beim Einbau etwas ausgleicht. Für einfachere Instrumente geht das ok, für sehr hochwertige Instrumente eher nicht zu empfehlen.
