Harley Brilliant!

This is nicely made and enjoyable to play instrument. For the money it’s utterly brilliant.
I initially bought the similar bass by Ibanez which was quite nice, but had a faulty tuner so I sent it back to Thomann.
I thought I’d try this because the tuner fault felt like a design flaw on the switch of the Ibanez and I wasn’t keep on getting another.
The Harley Benton is easily as good, if not better. It’s slightly smaller which I like because it’s mainly for playing unplugged on the sofa. Plugged into a Markbass practice amp it sounds pretty good (tame the treble with the onboard EQ). I prefer the satin finish compared to the open pore of the Ibanez. The intonation, action and finish are all good.
I will probably treat myself to a set of those fancy Daddario strings, but the ones that come with it are fine.
I’ve no idea how it compares to the more expensive one that inspired it… you know the one. However I did own a Taylor GS mini guitar at one point and I’d say it compares favourably to that in build quality and general feel.
I can’t recommend it enough! Especially with Thomann’s no quibble return policy if you find you have a dud one.

Einfach eine Freude

Eine kleine Bass Akustikgitarre, Hammer. Bildschön, Mahagoni, gut hörbar, prima bespielbar, sauber verarbeitet. Mit Tonabnehmer-System. Klingt am Amp prima. Einfach sehr Klasse und eine Freude. Ein schieres Weihnachtsgefühl ist auch das Auspacken. Wirklich auch jedes mal beruhigend und schön, wie umsichtig und sicher Thomann die Instrumente für den Versand verpackt. Da braucht man sich wirklich keine Sorgen machen, auch wenn in der Umverpackung eine Delle oder Riss durch den Transport zu sehen ist. Wie immer, Thomann- Team, Klasse.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto per effettuare registrazioni in casa,lo strumento funziona bene,esteticamente piacevole,dispone di una custodia morbida imbottita ed è elettrificato,la tastiera è morbida,adatto a un principiante ma anche a chi vuole avere uno strumento da viaggio,leggero e facile da suonare. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Superó mis expectativas

Hermoso, diseño excelente, suena muy bien y a un volumen más que razonable para el tamaño que tiene. Es muy cómodo para tocar. El único mínimo detalle es que hay que tener cuidado al tocar las notas agudas porque al ser tan cuerdas y trastes pequeños, a veces la afinación se puede "escapar", pero supongo que es inevitable en este tipo de instrumentos tan pequeños.

Además: la funda es muy buena. El afinador integrado es preciso y fácil de usar. Viene con una batería.

Aún no lo probé enchufado pero realmente ya superó mis expectativas ampliamente y por el precio es excelente.
