Harley Benton Feeler Gauges

Cost effective, but as many reviews have stated, very oily.
I think if anyone has a tip for cleaning it nicely, post it in your review. I'm no metal cleaning expert but I cleaned these and now they are slightly blotchy. I'm sure with the right metal polish I could get it nice and shiny again but, ain't nobody got time for that. Anyhoo, they do the job, so why spend more?

I got the gauges today. I unpacked them, saw that they are dripping in smelly oil (the oil literally drops from the gauges :D), and threw the thing away. I am not disposing my guitars to this thing and risk getting stains on my fret board. Probably does its job fine and for the money one shouldn't complain, but why the h*** is it so oily. Disgusting! (And no, I'd rather have them NOT as oily as this in regard to another review here, I use it on my guitar and not on a car motor).

The gauges themselves are fine but they came absolutely soaking in a particularly smelly kind of grease.

It swims in oil, takes forever to clean.

The gauges do what they are supposed to, no issues... but I didn't realise they were "oil dipped".

A tad much oil and it also fell out and got oil on some other wares. Dabbed off with some papertowel
