Far from perfect...
joseneves, 11.12.2020
It looks good, and it sounds good, but when I looked closer, particularly on the neck of the model I got, the finishing is far from perfect.
On the part where the nut joins the neck, it has irregular surface finishing; On the lower part of the neck (bridge side), the fretboard has minor scratches on its sides, and the fretboard surface has some irregularities, like it was randomly rasped on some places, it also has minor traces of glue marks visible near some frets, also one nut control is a bit bent.
Those are cosmetic flaws, they bothered me, but don't interfere with playing the instrument.
What really bothered me, was one fret that came a bit higher than it should, causing fret buzz near the 12th fret on the lower E string; That one was a very unpleasant surprise; I solved that in the setup, but because of that, the action had to be set a bit higher than desired.
I kept it, to save me the hassle of sending it back, and bc I really wanted this guitar.
After being setup, it plays nice, and serves the purpose, but honestly, I wouln't buy it again, not with all those small imperfections. I also think I'll never buy a guitar again without seeing it 1st, and I'll never buy another guitar from hagstrom.
I didn't want to be prejudiced, but obviously there's a reason why people diss made in china. If companies want to go cheap manufacturing, at least they could be honest and sell cheap manufacture at cheap price. For 650€, I expected something a bit better. That being said,if you want to buy one, I hope you're lucky to get a better finished one, than I did.

I expected better quality.
Daniel Kolik, 15.12.2020
I have been using this guitar for a week now.
First impressions were positive. The guitar is beautiful and overall the finish is well done.
Great sound. But over time, I noticed flaws. The headstock is covered with a very thick layer of varnish. On my guitar, the varnish even cracked at the junction with the nut. Also I've never seen such shabby strings on a new guitar. They look like they've been played for years. The chatter on the sixth string upset most of all. And this is despite the fact that the strings are high enough. Very low quality metal. It literally crumbles after contact with a screwdriver.
If you are going to buy this guitar, pay attention to the fact that it is really heavy and very unusual in shape. This makes playing sitting rather uncomfortable. Maybe you just need to get used to it. If it weren't for the rattle on the 6th string, I would have put 4 stars instead of 3.

Superb
Silvafox, 06.12.2020
Great looking guitar (wife described it as a work of art), with amazing sound - perfect for rock/metal.

Agree with the other review and that due to it's shape it can be a bit uncomfortable to play sitting down at first, but you will get used to it.

And it's worth persevering for the tones this thing produces!
