C'est du matos, qualité, finition, son super, on a envie de suite de faire corps avec sa batterie, d'entrer en osmose. Elle devient très vite notre meilleure amie.

Ein Traum Set

Unidentified Drumming Object 08.05.2017

Hi Drummers,

habe mir kürzlich das Gretsch USA Custom Satin Dark Ebony gegönnt :) - dieses Set ist optisch und klanglich ein Traum - eine völlig andere Liga als mein altes Mapex Pro M Series, obwohl letzteres auch nicht ganz sooo schlecht war.
Die Gretsch Toms bieten einen sehr breiten Stimm-Umfang, entfalten einen warmen aber trotzdem durchsetzungsfähigen Sound und gerade die Hänge-Toms haben durch die spezielle Aufhängung einen wunderbaren Sustain - bei vielen anderen Sets, die ich bisher gespielt habe war es oft so, dass man den schönen Sustain, den man sich vorher mühevoll hingestimmt hat, gleich wieder verloren hat sobald man die Toms wieder auf ihren Halterungen angebracht hat.
Die Gretsch 14" x 6,5" Snare, die bei diesem Kesselsatz mit dabei ist, hat eine tolle Ansprache und erfreut ebenfalls mit einen knackig-warmen Sound und einem tollen Rebound.
Die Gretsch Bass Drum kommt schlicht und einfach nur "fett".
Im Zusammenspiel mit meinen Zildjian A Customs ist dieses Set, wie der Franke sagen würde: A Gnad...
