I age chrome and nickel parts myself, but I wanted to compare my results with that of a Japanese company that manufactures guitar and bass parts of good quality. Unfortunately, the item received is... simply not aged. It has nothing to do with the one depicted on Thomann webpage, and only after a careful observation, one could notice that is not brand new. That was disappointing. On the other hand, I'm now quite satisfied with the results achieved with my aging technique.

Schöne Potiknöpfe, nicht zu stark geaged

Suchte für ein relic- Projekt Telecaster Potiknöpfe, die nicht zu stark geaged sind und insbesondere eine Chrome-Oberfäche haben ( die meisten Telecaster-Contol-Plates sind ja auch mit Chrome-Oberfläche erhältlich). Bei Gotoh wurde ich in der Relic Serie fündig, alles passt, die Knobs sind sehr wertig gearbeitet und haben nur leichte Aging-Spurn (kein Fake Rost o.ä.). Wer nicht auf Schrottplatzoptik steht, wird sicherlich damit seine Freude haben.

Bon effectivement ce n’est pas le plus bon marché qu’on peut trouver, mais qu’est ce que l’effet patiné est beau !
Ce sont des petites touches comme celle là qui font la différence sur une guitare 🤘
