Ich suchte ein Pickguard für meine Western-Gitarre...dieses hier kam mir von der Form her passend vor, also mitbestellt.
Leider passte die Rundung nicht zum Radius des Schall-Loches,auch die Positionierung des Pickguards auf der Gitarrendecke wäre dadurch nicht ganz so optimal gewesen, also hab ich die Form des Teils mit einer Schere ein wenig angepasst- ansonsten hätte das ganze ein wenig komisch von der Anbringung her ausgesehen.
Leider ist an den so entstandenen neuen Schnittkanten das Plastik an der Innenschicht nicht mehr ganz schwarz sondern Richtung "Grau" ,zumal ich mit einer feinen Feile die Kante entgratet hatte... leider liess sich dieser Farbunterschied nicht wegmachen .... letztendlich hab ich das Plastikteil dann irgendwann in den gelben Sack gesteckt, da das auf der Gitarre von der Optik her nach der "Randbeschneidung" schrottig ausgesehen hätte,schade.

Más robusto que otros modelos

Es más grueso que otros pickguards por lo que lleva ya su propia forma en las curvas, si no asienta perfecto en el círculo, el inconveniente que se presenta es para lijarlo y adaptar la circunferencia, que resulta más difícil que los delgados, ya que lleva un rebajado en los bordes, hecho por matricería. En mi caso prefiero los HB más finos que puedo lijar a voluntad hasta encajar con la roseta de la guitarra.
