I used 2 of these to essentially create "V" bars in the Gibraltar series of rack bars (because sadly, Thomann don't stock them or keep all the drum rack accessories of Gibraltar even though they have a reasonable range :-(( ) & they work very well indeed supporting a heavy load.
The price is great and I really cannot find anything negative to say about them-I recommend them highly.

New to racks and really glad i chose Thomas & Gibraltar to kit me out. Sturdy, does not move. Have everything memory locked for quick take down / reassembly. Yes sure racks are heavy and bulky but I reckon the floor plan is less than tripod stands - certainly can be if you plan it well - my 7pc definitely is. Wouldn't go back to stands for full kit set up.

Verspricht mehr als sie halten kann...

Die Gibraltar SC-GCARA CH Right Angle Clamp verspricht, Rackrohre in einem variablen Winkel zu verbinden. Leider ist dieser Winkel (zumindest wenn man in der Mitte eines Rohrs ansetzt) doch relativ eingeschränkt, weil sich die Klammer selbst blockiert.

Setzt man am Rohrende an, ist die Klammer super. Weiterer Minuspunkt: Die gewohnte Nut für die Memoryclamp ist zu dünn - die Winkelclamp wird an dieser Stelle regelrecht verbogen, wenn sie auf dem Zapfen der Memoryclamp stabil angesetzt werden möchte. Von daher ist hier von der sonst großartigen Qualität der Marke Gibraltar wenig zu spüren.

Abgesehen vom geschilderten Mangel erfüllt die Klammer ihren Zweck und hält bislang ihren Anforderungen stand.
