GF Ligature GF-10M Gold

Ligature
Aside from the instrument itself, the ligature and reed have the greatest influence on the sound and response of the wind instrument. Each ligature is like a tailor-made suit adapted to the mouthpiece type and guarantees the optimum position of the reed. The sophisticated mechanism (left / right-hand thread of the spindle) comes into play by clamping a symmetrical pulling force on the reed, so that it remains in the established position. An imprinted crosshairs on the tape facilitates the deployment of the reed.
