Très bonne peau, polyvalente, autant en frappe qu'en résonance. Le son, en frappe, est très "ouvert", donc riche en harmoniques. Parfait pour le jazz, les percussions en général, peut etre un peu trop "chantant" pour le rock.
En ce qui me concerne je ne joue que sur Evans depuis plus de dix ans, et je suis comblé.

Angefangen habe ich früher mit Remo. Irgendwann habe ich Evans-Felle probiert und werde wohl nie mehr zurück wechseln! Die Verarbeitung ist besser (fässt sich im Randbereich irgendwie "weicher" an als die Remos) und klingt (meines Empfindens) besser.

Die klare Version nutze ich als Resonanzfell - perfekt! Wer noch etwas mehr Wärme haben möchte, sollte die coated Versionen mal auf die Resoseite spannen, ihr werdet überrascht sein.

Ganz klar: Daumen hoch!
