If you want clean, loud and light, this is it.
Anonymous 14.02.2015
I am not the biggest Eminence fan, but I admit this speaker has really impressed me. It is loud, clean, light and has a very "punchy" bottom range. It has a peak in the upper mids, but I flattened that out by running an inductor in series. Now it sounds almost HiFi-like and works fine as a PA. In fact, this speaker has much cleaner and better reproduction than my Yamaha Club Series 12" PA speakers!

I upgraded my EBS ProLine 210 with the Deltalite II 2510s, and my 210 then became as loud as the normal 410. The 210 easily took all the output from my MarkBass LMII without sounding bad or bottoming out. And I have used them for over five years now, and they still sound and look like new. Top product!

O
Lightweight power with serious punch
Olasusen 04.08.2019
I've been using the Eminence Deltalite II 2510 drivers since 2016 in four custom-built bass cabinets, and they’ve been absolutely fantastic. These speakers deliver loads of punch, clarity, and volume, all while keeping the cabinet weight very manageable thanks to the lightweight neodymium design.

At one festival gig, I brought all four cabs (each with a single 2510), but only ended up using two – and they handled the whole stage effortlessly. That says a lot about how efficient and powerful they are, especially considering their compact size.

They’ve held up great over the years and are especially well-suited for styles where tight response and punch matter – slap, funk, and R&B feel right at home. The transient response is fast, and the tone stays focused even at high volumes.

You do need to design the cabinet carefully to get the best results – proper tuning and volume are key, and I’d definitely recommend using software like WinISD or similar to get it right, and make sure you have a good powerful amplifier :)

Pros:
Lightweight neodymium design – easy on the back
Loud, punchy, and clear even at high volumes
Reliable – mine have been going strong since 2016
Great for percussive and dynamic bass playing

Cons:
You need to add some kinde of tweeter for the high end.
I am using the Eminence APT80 V2 (tweeter horn) + Monacor DN-2618 (passiv cross over)

Things to take note of:
Requires proper cabinet design and tuning for optimal performance
Not plug-and-play in just any enclosure – needs software-based planning for best results. I paid a company to calculate the cabinet and port specs for me.

If you're building or upgrading a bass cabinet and want serious tone without the heavy lifting, the Deltalite II 2510 is a rock-solid choice. Highly recommended.

PS
Light Weight High Quality
Pete S. 28.01.2014
I needed a pair of 10" driver units for construction of a Bill Fitzmaurice Design loudspeaker. I decided to pay the premium for the lighter Neodymium based driver to keep weight down as far as possible.

There is little to say about Deltalite itself, it's a high quality unit up to Eminence's standards. As an aside, I've used Eminence Beta 12" drivers as replacements in older speakers completely ignoring the box to driver matching issues and they have sounded just fine.

Thomann pricing usually matches closely UK based pricing but if you are buying a pair plus other speaker hardware, you are likely to get the free shipping. Finally, the units come double boxed and securely packed as usual with Thomann so no worries about shipping damage.

Waited for years to put these into use in a 210 or BFM DIY bass enclosure, but then decided to try one in SWR WM10.
I should have done that right away when I bought these, unbelievable difference on both weight and sound.
