I was disappointed
Doesn't sound like a Big Muff to me. Sounds more like a distortion pedal more than what we've heard and love about a Big Muff. I was also let down by the amount of gain/fuzz you could get out of this thing. Not a lot. I bought this, the Op Amp (Billy Corgan) and the Triangle version to see which one I liked to most, and that I could have on my pedalboard without taking up too much space. I gotta be honest and say that neither of them did it for me, but the Triangle version won, so that's what's currently on my board. Can't beat the original NYC version though.

Not my cup of tea, but a good pedal nevertheless
A bit of a one trick pony. Sound is very ”dark” and quite bassy, different to other Muffs. Build quality is solid and robust like we expect from EHX. If you’re interested, check youtube demos before purchase. You may like it a lot more than I did.

Better on bass guitar
I bought it for my guitar pedalboard but didn't like it . I use it for bass guitar mostly where it performs well.
