This 4/4 violin, which is 100% tropical-wood free, includes a blackwood fingerboard as an alternative to ebony, but equivalent in sound, look and feel.
The industrially hardened blackwood, which is obtained from pinewood grown in plantations, has been used to preserve natural ebony resources and protect rainforests.
