Direct ON/OFF: Switches the direct signal off or on
Motor ON/OFF: enables the tape drive motor to be switched on or off to achieve the tape stop effect or to increase the life of the tape

It’s like an instrument on itself

This is a boutique and expensive unit, but the sound, features and build quality are top notch. There is something magical when interacting with a real tape echo, it sounds alive and characterful. The chorus and spring reverb are superb. The connectivity options are incredible and allow easy integration with a DAW setup. All this being a newly manufactured unit with warranty at a similar price than vintage units that are almost 50 years old and can be a maintenance nightmare. Kudos to Echo Fix for creating such amazing units!
