A cheap snare, but doesn't sound cheap

I am amazed at the sound of this snare. The build is robust and professional (and yes, that's an original DW MAG throw off, in case you were wondering). Have only had it for a week, but am completely in love with the punch, clarity and flexibility in tuning. The "DW by Remo" batter head is perfectly decent and there's no need to change it, but I've replaced that with a red Evans Hydraulic; it gives me more punch, is easier to tune, and I can live with losing a little, not too much, expression.

Best purchase this year, strongly recommend.

Ich habe es gekauft da ich bisher nur Holzsnares hattet und wollte etwas mit den typischen metallischen "Overtones" für Metal. Für den Preis ist es top. Klingt super, hält lang gestimmt und sieht super aus. Ich würde sie auf jeden Fall nochmals kaufen, auch als backup-Snare.
