Great pickups

I've installed Evolution set on my ESP M-II instead of EMGs.
Awesome alive bright sound for metal and alternative music. On coil-split has "Glass" sounds effect similar to classical Fender Stratocaster.

Bought this pickup to put into my project guitar. 4 wire so can be wired to be split coil etc.
The evo neck is very tight sounding pickup. Could be classed as a bit cold/sterile if your used to a more traditional pickup.
Great pickup if you want a modern sounding shred fest.

Étant fan depuis de nombreuses années du son du Maitre Vai, je n'ai pu m'empêcher de succomber à la tentation que représente un si bon micro à un prix si bas. Thomann propose certainement le meilleur tarif en Europe, et c'est très certainement ce qui m'a décidé à l'acheter ici sans me poser de question.
Bref, parlons du micro en lui-même : Un monstre de précision. Vous retrouverez sans aucun soucis le son bien chaud et précis de Vai, et vous pourrez sans aucune difficulté vous attaquer à un solo rapide sans que ça bave. Ce micro est vraiment taillé pour le gros son, il faudra oublier le clean si votre potard de volume n'est pas progressif, ou si vous ne pouvez pas splitter le micro.
Finalement, micro génial à recommander à tout prix, qu'on aime le son de Vai ou qu'on ait juste besoin d'un neck PU très précis, très chaud !
